I have received a number of questions about my experience with the CQ WW observer program last November. I have also seen some online commentary about the performance of the observers.

Taking in belief the information we have from the CQ WW CC about checking the power limitations then it looks like the CQ WW inspector should take local government responsibilities, i.e. he should check if the inspected station follows local regulations in all ways.

CQ WW DX CW Contest 2009 is the first contest where the CQ WW observer program will start. As far as I know, inspected persons are: EF8M, CR3E, 8P5A

Well, CQ WPX CW 2009 has just ended and propogation was perfect for the contest.

Tom 8P5A gained a victory in SOAB category with 20.533 million points, leaving behind the nearest rival FG/OM3LA with 16.105 million points gap.
